butter. is female owned and our pyjamas are all designed in-house in our London based studio.
Ethical Production
Our products are hand made by a small female owned production facility in Nepal. Female owned businesses are rare in Nepal as women are often encouraged to take traditional routes.
We have a close connection to our manufacturer and frequently visit to discuss upcoming collections.
We can give peace of mind that our pyjamas are produced ethically, while supporting women to establish their own businesses and sustaining nepalese handcrafts.
Our materials
Our pyjamas are made using dead stock fabric that has been discarded by larger fashion brands, helping reduce landfill waste and giving fabrics a second chance.
We selected only natural materials to ensure durability, breathability and moisture-wicking properties, so you can get a good night's sleep in the utmost comfort.
